Description
A Moka Induction coffee maker is a modern version of the classic Moka pot, specifically designed for use on induction stovetops. Traditional aluminum Moka pots aren’t suitable for induction cooking because aluminum isn’t magnetic. The Moka Induction model addresses this limitation by incorporating a dual-layer construction:
- Base material: The bottom chamber typically has a stainless steel layer, which is induction-compatible and allows for efficient heat conduction on induction stovetops.
- Upper chamber: The top part is often made of aluminium, preserving the classic look and feel of a traditional Moka pot.
The brewing process remains the same as in a standard Moka pot, where water is heated, creating pressure that pushes it through the coffee grounds and into the upper chamber. The Moka Induction coffee maker offers the classic stovetop espresso experience with the added versatility of working on all heat sources, including induction, gas, and electric stovetops.
